I believe that one of the hardest things for someone new to self hypnosis, is to be able to clear their mind and relax. Being able to relax is essential and unless you’re following along with an audio program, (mp3, cd, etc), then it can be very difficult to clear your mind and focus.
I always suggest making your own recording or picking up a meditation cd, and listening to that while doing self hypnosis. It’s not hard to make your own recording. Many MP3 players have the ability to record sound or you could even use an old cassette player.

I remember the first time I was hypnotized. I was actually being hypnotized by my instructor as part of the training class I was going through to become a hypnotist. And you know, as much as I knew about hypnosis, I was still a little nervous! So I can understand why most people might be a little “uneasy” about being hypnotized.
I can assure you though, it was, and continues to be, a very relaxing a pleasant experience. When I practice self hypnosis, it is one of the few times during the day, when I can give my mind a body a break. I can forget about the computer, the phone calls, the problems, etc. For 20 or 30 minutes, my mind and body get a much needed vacation.
Hypnosis isn’t something to be scared of. It’s relaxing and it’s a wonderful tool to help you get your life back on track!
SelfHypnosisProgram.com actually started out as a blog a couple of years ago, but has now expanded into a full fledged website. Hopefully that means I’m doing something right for my visitors!
When I converted over to a static website, I dropped the blogging. But I’ve decided it’s a good way to keep in touch and adds some more interaction with my visitors.
If you have topics you’d like for me to write about, I’m all ears! I look forward to helping you with your self hypnosis!
