I’ve become interested in subliminal recordings lately. Why? I guess just curiosity mostly. Having a background with hypnosis, I found the idea of subliminal recordings to be interesting.
I purchased a couple of subliminal MP3’s from a business, and I have a slight problem with them. The idea behind these recordings is that you’re listening to perhaps waves crashing on the shore, crickets chirping in the darkness, etc, while “silent” subliminal messages are being played in the background. Being as they are silent, you have NO idea if there is even anything on the recording? I ended up buying a copy of some software that allows you to make your own subliminal recordings. I still have a problem with it though…you have no idea if the subliminal message you recorded, is really on the recording since you can’t hear it?!?!?!
Subliminal messages are basically an affirmation.
* “I enjoy fresh vegetables”
* “I eat small portions of food”
* “I burn calories easily”
That’s cool, because I believe affirmations work. You put an affirmation into a recording and listen to it at night or whenever, and you begin to see positive changes. What I have a problem with is…if the affirmation is silent, how do you know there is actually an affirmation on the recording? Yes…I understand that you’re not “supposed” to be able to hear the affirmation and that it’s recorded at a frequency that is beyond the normal hearing range, but “why”? Why can’t I listen to crickets chirping while hearing, “I enjoy fresh vegetables” playing low in the background? Won’t that accomplish the same thing, (only now I can actually hear the affirmation). I’ve made some recordings using “my” method and I really like them and so far they are working great for me.
So…I have the software and the ability to make my own recordings. I would like to see what you think of my “subliminal” recordings. In the coming weeks/months, I plan to make a few recordings for site visitors to download and try out. Please check back for these.
