Highway Hypnosis

Have you ever heard the term, “highway hypnosis”? Even if you haven’t, chances are you’ve experienced it before. It’s those times when you’re driving or riding in a car somewhere, then all of a sudden you realize your at your destination and can’t recall what the trip was like getting there!     I have experienced this phenomenon and it’s a little spooky. My most recent experience with this was driving home from work and without realizing it, taking the long way home that added an extra five minutes to my drive. Never occurred to me until it was over. Pretty weird.

      Indeed it can be a bit spooky! People always ask what hypnosis is like…well if you’ve experienced this, you have some idea. It’s not like being asleep or anything. In fact, you’re typically VERY focused on something and oblivious to everything else. Cool stuff!

        yup… have experienced that too.
        it gives chills to the spine… but its really cool.
        coz its like you’ve never driven that long and don’t feel tired of the trip.
