Procrastination is an area that I’ve personally struggled with in the past.  Through the use of self hypnosis, I’m definitely doing better…but still have room to improve.

So why do we procrastinate?  There can be lots of reasons.  One big distraction for me has been the internet.  My job requires me to be on the computer most of the day so there’s always email to check, see whats happening in the news, who won the football game, searching for the answer to that question I had last night, etc.  There is always something.  I have to get myself in that “zone” if I want to get anything done.  I’ve found self hypnosis to be extremely helpful for me to learn to focus on what I need to get done and avoid the constant need to be checking on other things.
