It’s inevitable…there are times in our lives when we’d much rather “erase” something from our memory. Perhaps it’s an old boyfriend, girlfriend, spouse or just someone or something that causes you too much grief. The memories hurt and they don’t seem to go away. They wake you up at night. They break your concentration during the day. These memories can linger for days, years or a lifetime.
While total erasure of a person or event might “seem” like a great idea, it’s not. Memories, good or bad, make up who we are. We draw upon good memories to make us laugh, to give us a boost, to cheer us up. Bad memories are stored in our brains for a reason as well. We use them to learn from & improve our lives going forward.
A better option than removing a memory would be to remove or lessen the painful emotions associated with it. In this way, the memory is still there, but it simply doesn’t bother you any more. Hypnosis is the easiest and most effective way to access and modify the unconscious processes by which we assign significance to these events.
When the impact of your memory has been lessened, it’s like a heavy weight has been lifted off your shoulders and you’re free to move on. It’s truly a great feeling!
My recommendation to help you move out of the past is a downloadable MP3 called, “Let It Go“. This is a very powerful session that you can download to your computer and start using in minutes. Don’t let those bad memories continue to eat at you.
