For me, the biggest hurtle that I have had to lose weight, was the psychological hurtle. Before I lost my weight I was always doubting myself. This made it very difficult for me to put the effort into eating right and exercising. Once I saw some improvements, I was able to believe in myself and it made losing weight, so much easier. I was motivated to work hard for my goals.

Thanks for sharing this information on losing weight. Losing weight is quiet difficult to achieve in just a short period of time. It requires patience and discipline. And also you have to make sure that you choose a safe and effective method.
Oh, I particularly love this comment by Chuck: “I don’t know exactly what happens, but something in my head says, ‘No, you don’t need that,’ and the urge passes.”
Wish I could just do the right thing, or eat the correct thing and not quite know how I managed it-rather than it being such a big decision each and every time!

Seems to be every interesting especially to those who are having hard time losing some weights. But it is a good thing that I do not need to struggle in losing some weight. What worked for me is changing my eating habit; I can not change my diet so what I did is to simply reduce the amount of food that I take. I now eat in moderation and drink 2-3 cups of green tea daily. But of course, I still eat burger, ice cream, pizza & chocolates once in a while.

I don’t get it. What’s so hard about loosing weight? I managed to loose 25lbs in 3 week with no effort whatsoever and never really got them back. I’m not teasing you people I’m just trying to understand, because my wife finds it quite difficult too while I never really had a problem.
losing weight has kinda becom a weighty issue with everyone these days. but ultimately what matters is how well u keep urself.

Lossing weight is very hard but its better to lose weight as over weight creates lots of problems. I don’t have any sort of problem as it became a habbit.

From my experience, I think if you really want to lose weight & you put your mind to it — you can do it! If you’re willing to put in the time, work, & effort — you’ll get there!
I agree, losing a little can do a lot for you. I lost 40 lbs, still have 50 to go, but in losing 40 lbs I no longer have to take my diabetes medication….as my blood sugar has returned to normal.
I had never thought about hypnosis for weight loss-very interesting concept.

Hm, I dont really believe in hypnosis. I just cant imagine someone doing that one me and succeeds.

I’m glad you were able to loose the weight so easily Rolling Meadows. So people can do that.
Speaking for myself and I guess many others, bad eating and exercise habits have gone on for so long that they’ve become extremely difficult to change without some dramatic focus and effort. Hypnosis just might be the trick for some people.
If this method is so successful in helping people to lose weight, I wonder why it’s not familiar to wider audience. I mean, it’s easy to hear about something that helps people, heals them, solves problems instantly etc. But if that’s true, shouldn’t that be a world known fact, and not something you hear about here and there.
That just makes it more unbelievable.
Losing weight is a hardest thing to do? Why? because I had a lot of Friends shared their experiences, especially how they sacrifice not to eat their meal!. I should tell them about this. Thank’s for the great post.
Anything involving losing weight while struggling is bound to be a losing proposition. This sounds really interesting. If you can take the struggle and deprivation out of weight loss, you just might succeed…..

I’m about to try self-hypnosis myself — my friend was using hypnosis tapes for a while, and it seems like she lost some weight. I’ll try anything once and I don’t think self-hypnosis has any side effects.

Good tips. I know it is not that easy but I want to give it a try.
Cutting down on on your intake of food and also taking note of what you eat is very important. Everyday 30 minutes of workout is also very important. If you want a faster results, go get some slimming pills but do not get greedy and eat too much of the pills, follow the instructions and don’t ever over do it.
