I ran across an article while perusing the web for hypnosis news. (Always working for my readers!
) The article only briefly mentions hypnosis, only to say that the person in the story, “tried it”. The purpose of the article is to say that one of the best ways to weight loss is the old fashioned way…eat better and exercise more.
You’re probably saying to yourself….
- “but Chris…aren’t you hurting yourself by posting the link to an article that doesn’t promote hypnosis?!?!”
Hey….I’m here to help you…the person that reads this blog. Do I believe hypnosis works? You bet your booty I do! Hypnosis has a phenomenal success rate! How many times have you heard this before? They’re right you know….so many people do regain the weight they lose on a diet. When you’re on a diet, you’re unknowingly programming your subconscious,
- “boy…when I get down to 130 lbs, I’ll be happy!”
Guess what….your subconscious obeys and helps you get to that weight just like you’ve asked it to. Then what…the subconscious says….
- “ok, you’re at 130 lbs, the journey is over…relax and start eating!”

Yes -isn’t it true. We can get all hyped and serious for a diet. And we can lose weight. But the minute we let up, we start gaining it all back.
All that energy to maintain the diet is really hard work I find. The trick is to finding the way to make it easy and natural. Not a chore, or something on our chronic to do list.
